HW FOR GRADES 4 AND 5

May 29-June 1

I am giving 4th and 5th graders the option of reading for 30 minutes (a book of their choice) or working for 30 min. nightly on a Study Is. assignment.

Top Secret Science

They made "silly putty" using glue and liquid starch

By mixing vinegar and pure rubber we made rubber bands!

 

Grade 5

Please be aware that the fifth graders have a Social Studies test and a report on a famous American from the time of the Revolutionary War. Paperwork/study guide went home May 17. Mrs. K

Hershey's Track and Field event

The Hershey's track and Field event at Manning Field is scheduled for June 9. The paperwork went home last week. If you are interested in having your child participate please send the form back to school. Permission slips are due back on June 1. Mrs. K

Week of May 7

Grade 4: All state projects are due (May 8). No HW for the week due to MCAS testing.
Grade 5: No HW due to MCAS testing

Leah Warren has agreed to put together the yearbook for the cost of the material. Please send any pictures of your child and other children in the 5th grade to Leah  by Wed. May 16. Please send a baby picture with your child's name on the back to the office.

HW April 30-May 3

Grade 4: Report on the state you chose due May 8. Read for 20-30 minutes ( a book of your choice) and have a parent sign your bookmark.
Grade 5: Cont. to read Saving Shiloh  nightly. A book of your choice when you finish. Have parent sign bookmark nightly.
BAKE SALE TUESDAY
MCAS starts next week for both grades 4 and 5. No homework will be assigned. We will also not have any after school extra help during those weeks.
