Grades 5 and 4: due to MCAS testing regular reading homework is suspended for both grades. However, I would like your child to review the ELA notebook with you the night before the test.
Grade 5 tests on Tuesday and Thursday. Grade 4 tests on Wednesday.

Grade 4: continue to read the Hank Z. book and summarize nightly.
Grade 5: Cont. to read the Watson's book 20 minutes per night. The project will be due April 10th. The directions are posted in a previous blog post and your child has a copy in the binder.

Grade 4: Cont. reading the Hank Zipzer book a chapter a night and summarize.. Chapter 5 Monday-chapter 8 Thursday.
Grade 5: The Watsons Go To Birmingham will be going home this week. Please have your child read the book 20 minutes per night Monday through Thursday. A project will go home with more details about when the novel should be finished by.

Grade 4: A new Hank Ziptzer book went home today. Please have your child read and summarize a chapter a night. Monday chapter1 through Thursday chapter 4. This homework will continue next week.
Grade 5: Please finish reading The One And Only Ivan. The project is due on Friday. Each child should pick one of the following:
