HW Jan 28-31

Grade 4: Monday and Tues please work on wolf report. The brainstorm was completed in school. The report should be one page long. A white folder for it  went home. Do not type it. I will try to find some time that we could go to the computer lab to type the report. Just have your child write it by hand. The cover should be a picture of a wolf or wolves drawn by hand. Directions on how to draw the wolf that went home as well.
Thurs. and Friday I will send home some reading on the Titanic. 
Social Studies report on the D.C monuments is due Monday. (Robert is not responsible for this assignment.)

Grade 5: A map of the 13 colonies went home today. It comes with a disc, colored pencils  and directions. It is due next Friday, Feb 1. Grade 5 will continue to read and summarize a chapter a night in Uprising.

Open House is Tues. evening 6-7:30pm and Thursday after school.

Jan 23-25

Grade 4: We will be finishing up Hachiko Waits this week. Also, please have your child work on the S.S. project due Jan 28th.
Grade 5: Read a chapter a night in Uprising. The project on the Pilgrims/Puritans is due this Friday.
Open House next week.

HW Jan 14-17

Grade 4: Hachiko Waits Monday chapter 6, Tues chapter 7, Wed chapter 8 and Thurs chapter 9. Also, study for S.S test on Friday. Study guide on the Middle Atlantic region will go home on Monday. Extra help on Tues. for the S.S. test from 2:15 to 2:45. Project on the D.C. monuments went home last Friday. It is due the 28th.
Grade 5: Uprising we will be reading and summarizing a chapter a night. S.S. project on the Pilgrims and the Puritans should be worked on at home as well.

HW Jan 6 - 9

Grade 4: Hachiko Waits is the name of our new story. Please read and summarize a chapter a night. We will be having a quiz on elements of poetry on friday. The flash cards are in the binder.

Grade 5: A chapter a night will be assigned in Uprising. We are also reading this book in school  so please make sure they take it back and forth.

HW Jan 2-3

Grade 4:
A worksheet about pufflings with comprehension questions will go home. Also, please have your child do 30 min. of Study Is. ELA. Next week we will have a quiz on the elements of poetry. Study cards will be going home.
Grade 5:
We have started reading Uprising. THe children will be assigned a chapter a night. A S.S. project on the Puritans will be going home soon.
