HW Dec 1-4

Grade 4: Monday and Tuesday a National Geographic magazine will go home. Please have your child read the story and answer the questions on the last page. Worksheets will go home for homework Wed. and Thurs. Also, your child needs to study the flashcards on the 5 Middle Atlantic states and capitals for a quiz on states, abbreviations, and capitals on Friday.    

Grade 5: We will continue to read Among the Imposters 2 chapters a night with one summary.

Grades 4 and 5 please send in an item for our basket for the Holiday Fair.

Homework Nov 24 and 25th

Grade 4: a book about owls will go home tonight. Please read the first half and list 10 facts that you learned on Mon. Read the second half on Tues. and list 10 facts. 

Grade 5: continue Among the Imposters read a chapter and summarize.

Museum of Science Visits 5th Grade

Today the Museum of Science brought their "Weather, Temperature, and Climate" program to The Fifth Grade class! We learned so much! Be sure to ask your child what they learned today!  Several students were chosen to be volunteers for some experiments, too!

Homework NOV 17-21

Grade 4: Monday night a worksheet will go home on wolves. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday please work on a wolf report due Friday. The format is the same one as the biography reports. We will have done the research in school using the computer lab and many different books on wolves.

Grade 5: continue reading Among the Imposters a chapter a night and summarize.
