Homework March 14- 17

Please read and summarize a chapter a night of The Watsons go to Birmingham starting on chapter 2 Monday night. 

Homework March 7-10

I am giving the fifth-graders an extra night to finish the book Timothy of the Cay. I would like the summaries passed in on Wednesday, March 9. I will assign a packet for both Wednesday and Thursday nights  homework to be passed in on Friday

Hw February 22-24

We will be having a Social Studies test this Thursday. Homework this week is to study for it by using the packet and the study guide given out before vacation. The packet should be in the binder. The test will be on Thursday. No homework is assigned for Thursday night. Please suspend reading Timothy of the Cay beyond chapter 16 till Monday, February 29.

Spelling bee winner!

Homework for the first week of February

We will be starting a new book on Monday, February 1. Please read two chapters a night and write a summary. The spelling bee will be on Wednesday. Please study with somebody at home with the list of words you got last week

Homework January 25-28

We will be finishing Is. Of the Blue Dolphins on Thursday night. Summaries are due on Friday. Also, we I'll be having a spelling bee next week. A study guide will go home on Monday. Please practice for the bee at home. The winner will participate in the city-wide spelling bee ( date to be determined).
