Nature's Classroom

The fifth graders arrived safely at 11:00 to begin their Nature’s Classroom adventure.  Mrs. Zukas has reported that everyone is happy and doing well.  Music to my ears!  She sent me pictures of the children getting ready for dinner.  She also sent me a picture of one of our rooms before the children moved in.  The chaperones sanitized before……thank you.  It will be interesting to get a before and after of the room.  I will keep you posted as often as I get up-dates.

Tues: map on one of the N.E. states
Wed: Chapter 2 of Jake Drake (we will read chapter 1 in school) read and summarize
Thurs: Chapter 3 of Jake Drake read and summarize

Monday, October 3

Please have your child at the bus by 7:30 am.  We are leaving from Great Woods Rd. (by the softball field) at 7:45-8:00.  We will pack the bus from the back door.

Friday, Oct 7

We will be arriving in Lynn on Friday between 12:30-1:00.  Please pick up your child at Great Woods Rd. site.

MEDICATIONS:

If your child takes any medications please put it in a Ziploc.  Write your child’s name on the outside.  (The medical administration form goes inside if you have not given it to me).  I will have a medication box for you to it in …..See me at the bus.

PACKING:

Please label everything you can with your child’s name.  They will need bug spray.  Use a rope or a bungee for sleeping bags.

REMINDER:

NO ELECTRONICS…THIS INCLUDES PHONES, VIDEO GAMES, ETC……..
