Homework for Nov 10-13

Grade 4: Another biography report will be assigned on Monday. It is due Friday. Also, we will be having a S.S. test on the New England region on Friday. The study guide is in the binder. Highlighted areas need to be studied.
Grade 5: cont. reading and summarizing Among The Imposters. Monday: chapter 5, Wednesday chapter 6, and Thursday chapter 7.
No school Tuesday, November 11th.

Veteran's Day program

HW November 3-6

Grade 4 students will be working on another biography report (this is the same assignment as last week). It is due Friday.
Grade 5 students will be starting another book: Among The Imposters. This is the sequel to the story, Among The Hidden which we read in class. Please read and summarize a chapter a night (including Tuesday)
A summary of the last chapter in Shiloh Season will not be required.

Hard work is REWARDED!

Today Mrs. Fritz surprised all of the 4th and 5th graders who worked so hard last year on the MCAS with an ice cream sundae party, extra recess, and a commendation school achievement ribbon.  Congratulations on your hard work and SUCCESS!

Here is the list for the party on Friday. Our party will begin directly after the parade.

HW October 27-30

Grade 4: A book will go home from the David Adler biography series. Please have your child do the following:
Monday: read the book and start the brainstorm page
Tuesday: finish the brainstorm
Wednesday: Write a one page report (several paragraphs) using the brainstorm
Thursday: work on the report cover (draw or print out pictures of the person)
The report on due on Friday. The 4th graders will pick another biography book from the series and do the same thing for homework next week.

Grade 5: Continue with Shiloh Season. The book should be finished a week from Monday.
