Open House agenda

Dear Parents,
If you were unable to attend the Lynn Woods Open House his is a list of the topics covered:
Grade 4

• I teach Reading andWriting (ELA) for 1:45 minutes daily
• Materials I use:

1. Trophies Reading Series
2. Picture books (to teach reading strategies)
3. Paperback books
4. MCAS release questions

• Binder system: check out your child's binder weekly
• Homework: M-TH read and respond in a journal (summary of the chapters)
• Literacy bags: please check out on Monday, return on Friday if possible
• Lynn Woods School general blog: http://www.lynnwoodsschool.blogspot.com/
• Night back for 4th graders with Mrs. Kennedy is Tuesdays 2:15-2:45 pm

Grade 5 students:

• I teach Reading, Writing (ELA), Science and Social Studies to the 5th graders
• Materials I use:

2. Picture books ( to teach reading strategies)
3. Paperback books
4. MCAS release questions

• Binder system: please check your child's binder weekly
• HW M-TH read and respond (summarize the chapters)
